The Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) regulation, enacted by the European Union on June 1, 2007, plays a crucial role in safeguarding human health and the environment by regulating the production and use of chemical substances. This regulation ensures that both manufacturers and consumers are informed about the chemical substances present in products and their potential impacts.
At Meridian Cable, we recognize the importance of accurate and comprehensive information regarding the materials, components, and subcomponents that we utilize in our products. Our commitment to quality and safety mandates that we rely on our suppliers to provide precise and detailed information about these materials. To ensure the reliability of the data we receive, Meridian Cable has established rigorous requirements for our suppliers to deliver thorough documentation and transparency.
We take the handling and processing of this data very seriously, implementing best practices to maintain its integrity. Our team diligently assesses the information obtained from our suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Based on the data received to date, and to the best of Meridian Cable's knowledge, we confirm that our products do not contain any regulated Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) as defined by the European Chemicals Regulations, at concentrations exceeding the threshold of 0.1%. We remain committed to monitoring and updating our practices to align with any changes in regulations or supplier information.
